What?
Adventure Camp is an exciting day camp designed for youth ages 9-12.
Each week camp brings many exciting activities including archery,
outdoor living skills, service learning, new xergames in the Fun Zone,
and the NEW 50 ft Alpine Tower and ground level team development
course. Adventure camp will also be attending fun field trips or
special events. Come join us for this exciting summer with
many new adventures!
What is a Typical Day Like?
7:00 am - 8:45 am Free time/Parent Drop Off
8:45 am - 9:00 am Walk to camp
9:00 am - 9:30 am Opening ceremonies and Chapel
9:45 am - 12:25 pm Rotation through 3-activity periods
12:30 pm -1:00 pm Lunch and rest time
1:15 pm - 3:15 pm Swimming or group games
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm Closing ceremonies
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Free time/Parent Pick Up
Adventure Camp Field Trip Schedule
6/10 Redfox Games Paintball — Kids will enjoy a day of paintball at Redfox
Games in Woodruff, SC.
6/17 Boulder Games — YMCA’s from surrounding areas will come to our
YMCA to compete for the coveted “Boulder”.
7/1 Greenville Drive Game — Campers will take in a night game watching
Greenville’s Minor League Baseball team
7/8 Mystery Field Trip — Information for this field trip will be given out
a week in advance
7/13 Starlab — The State Museum of South Carolina will bring a
portable planetarium to the YMCA.
7/22 Overnight @ YMCA — Campers will camp out at Camp Greenwood
7/29 Calhoun Falls State Park — A day of fun in the sun at Calhoun
Falls State Park Recreation Area
8/5 Family Night — Come enjoy dinner and a program by the campers
8/12 Adventure Crossing — A family fun park that includes, go karts,
laser tag, and arcade games. Located in Augusta, GA.
