Summer Day Camp
Ages: 3 – 16 years old
YMCA Day Camp – a hallmark program – is one of the most effective and powerful ways that children learn lessons that will serve them throughout their live – and this summer, we invite your child to join us and become part of something very special.
At Camp Greenwood, your child will gain skills, try new things and grow in confidence and self-assurance, while practicing the YMCA core values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility as part of daily camp life. By participating in a larger community, your child will practice team-work, social skills and many new friends. Camp Greenwood also offers your child role models who are committed to excellence. Our team of counselors brings enthusiasm, responsibility, knowledge and a genuine love for children to their jobs.
Campers will experience daily morning devotions, end of the week campfires, arts & crafts, archery, sports, outdoor living skills, swimming, climbing wall, alpine tower and team development.

Camp Greenhorn
Ages: 3 – 5 years old
Educational games & activities are organized to prepare your child for the school setting. They will swim, eat a snack, play games and go on field trips. Campers must be fully potty trained. Choose from 3 weeks – one in June, July and August. All sessions meet Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

Discovery Camp
Ages: 5 – 8 years old
Discovery camp offers your child a positive, indoor and outdoor summertime experience. Campers will experience Camp Greenwood and programs that encourage youngsters to participate in group activities which develop creativity, independence and a sense of teamwork. Our trained staff provides your child the opportunity to share knowledge and learn new skills. Character development is incorporated in everyday programming with an emphasis on the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Adventure Camp
Ages: 9 – 12 years old
Adventure camp offers an opportunity for older youth to further develop their leadership and group skills in an environment that is challenging, supportive, and safe. The choice and design of activities is based on the YMCA’s 150+ years of leadership in providing age-appropriate activities. Adventure camp is designed to challenge and inspire 9 – 12 year olds.
Dates: June 16 – August 12

Member – $105
Non-Member – $125
Specialty Camps
Ages: 5 – 12 years old
Specialty camps are offered from 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 4:00pm with the option to stay the entire day in the age appropriate day camp for an additional fee. Each camp will provide an exciting and new experience that you may never have again. Camps include but are not limited to: Fishing, Magic, Guitar, Video Game, Horseback Riding, Photo, and Cake Decorating. Spaces are limited so sign up early.

Sports Camps
Ages: 6 – 16 years old
In addition to the traditional day camp experience, Sports camps are offered from 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm –4:00pm with the option to stay the entire day in the age appropriate day camp for an additional fee. Each day you can improve your skills through a variety of drills and game play. Camps include but are not limited to: Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Cheerleading, Wrestling, Golf, Swimming and Weight Lifting. Premium camps have an additional fee.

Leaders In Training
Ages: 13 – 16 years old
Leaders In Training program provides teenagers with exciting opportunities to build character, self-esteem, leadership skills and team development. They experience the success of setting and achieving goals and developing values that will promote a lifetime of healthy activities and relationships with other. These youth work closely with the counselors and campers to provide a safe, fun environment for everyone. The program will include the Outdoor Teen Adventure Camp experience. This program is for members only.

Outdoor Teen Adventure Camp
Ages: 13 – 16 years old

Prices: Member – $350 Non-Member – $425
New camp for teens! Starts on a Monday at the Camp Greenwood Challenge Course which includes the Alpine Tower and Team Development Course. Tuesday camp departs for Bryson City NC for camping, tubing, hiking, white water rafting and much more! Camp will return on Friday afternoon.
