The mission of the Greenwood Family YMCA is to put Christian principles

into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

 Volunteer at the Y and you can...Read to a child...Teach someone to hit a baseball, make a bounce pass ...Help a preschooler tie her shoe...Make a new friend...Teach or learn a new skill...Apply your business skills...Gain wisdom from a senior...Use your gift of gab and help on the phones...Show a budding artist that it’s OK to color outside the lines...Use your talent for organizing events, and so much more.

                     Whether you are a teen, mom or dad, grandparent or corporate executive, we need you. All it takes is a little time to make a difference in someone’s life.

Our Front Desk area has expanded and this allows us to place more individuals behind the desk to serve our members. We are in need to Ambassadors to help greet members, hand out keys and towels and other light duties. Do you have the gift of "Gab"? Do you enjoy meeting a variety of people and chatting with them?
