Health, Well-being and Fitness

Because we know that healthy lifestyles are achieved through nurturing mind, body and spirit, well-being and fitness at the Y is so much more than just working out. Beyond fitness facilities, we provide educational programs to promote healthier decisions, and offer a variety of programs that support physical, intellectual and spiritual strength.

 

Youth Orientations for ages 10-12:
Meets one evening each month from 5:30 – 7:30pm.

After completing this one session orientation youth members ages 10 – 12 may use the cardio area. A fitness coach will be available to monitor and assist youth with cardiovascular workouts. Parents and youth must complete the fitness orientation and receive an approved badge prior to any workouts.

Teen Orientation for ages 13-15:
Meets two evenings each month from 5:30 – 7:30pm.

Teen members ages 13 and older may use the fitness center without adult supervision, after they have completed the two session fitness orientation and received an approved badge.
